How It Works

A quick guide to how FlyStock works, what to expect, and when to expect it.

The FlyStock Indicator

FlyStock is our own unique tool, which provides clear, visual feedback on any market, at any time.

A close above the cloud is a new buy signal.

A close below the cloud is a new sell signal.

Taking into account a blend of moving averages and momentum, it identifies major trends and allows us to stay on the correct side of them.

Cutting out the noise

Successful investing comes down to the timing of 2 key decisions. Buying, and Selling. We don’t speculate on markets or offer personal thoughts, the FlyStock indicator analyses the markets and provides one of two instructions…

How to Use FlyStock Signals

Our subscribers use the signals our service provides in a variety of ways, such as helping them to:

  • Advance their current strategy e.g. option writing
  • Confirm or counter existing analysis
  • Avoid being pressured by FOMO
  • Help position sizing
  • Assist stop loss positioning
  • Identify when they may be wrong

The Meat of the Move

We don’t try to call market tops and bottoms

This may surprise you, but the aim of the FlyStock indicator is not to call market tops and bottoms. Instead, we aim to capture the meat of the move, that is, the bulk of the long term growth.

How can I receive updates?

There are a number of ways you can receive signal alerts and market updates from our system.

Timeframes

We usually use a 2-week timeframe for stocks, and a weekly timeframe for volatile assets and indices. However, we can also provide you with the timeframe that suits you and complements your analysis. It’s your subscription and your service, so should you require them, please just ask.

When are website updates posted?

So you know when to expect what, we stick to a regular schedule for website updates. You can view a full calendar here, but essentially:

  • Monday-Friday – member requests and feedback
  • Every weekend – signal alerts on any major markets
  • Every other weekend – a comprehensive fortnightly review of all signals
  • 1st of every month – signal alerts on a monthly timeframe

How do you manage risk?

Risk management is an important part of the FlyStock indicator. Our stop/exit is triggered when price closes on the opposite side of the cloud to which the position opened. The stop follows the FlyStock indicator throughout the duration of the investment, so you can’t miss it.

What markets do you cover?

  • Major indices and global markets
